the Daddy and Dandy Show

its 5.44am and all I can think about is that episode of the Daddy & Dandy Show where they are both represented by cardboard cut-outs of Trotsky standing facing each other in the middle of the apartment whilst a team of Thai lady boys urinate freely upon small dogs.
remember how that last dog turns to the camera and says ‘DINGDONG!!’

I believe this was actually BEFORE the scriptwriters introduced the (now) infamous ‘Controversy Duck’.
for some people, the duck was a sign of the programs inability to deal with (anti)social issues raised by the shifting relationship between Daddy & Dandy; for others, it was a blatant recognition of those same issues.
Analysis aside, does anybody else remember that episode of the Daddy & Dandy Show where Daddy comes home from a long days graft at the chocolate brownie factory and punches Dandy square in the face ?(cue Controversy Duck) … DINGDONG!! Laughed? I nearly shat.
