it has been raining for a week. its like that story by Bradbury

and toads..all calling to eachother and all being drawn closer

two days ago i saw two frogs at the bottom of the pond mating.
lush underwater sound, the unblinking eyes of cold lovers as
they perform this moveless dance all the while eyes on me, the
monster from above.
